I have a background in electrical and mechanical engineering however had no definite plans to follow this as a career - then I came across the world of Private Investigation, almost by accident. The subject fascinated me; I had never even dreamed of being a Private Eye before. I worked for myself as an Investigator for several years before joining Answers Investigation in May 2004. I am now responsible for running the Watford office |

I am a biker and currently the only (full-time) two-wheeler at Answers Investigation. I have had a lot of success following subjects by motorbike, like tailing black cabs through London – not easy in a car! I am in the process of setting up more bikers that will operate from my base in Watford. (see video) |

The very first day I started with Answers Investigation at Head Office, I volunteered to carry out an ‘undercover mission’ to a near-by farm. This was to investigate a suspicion of employing immigrant workers for little pay and keeping them in poor living conditions. I approached the farm and offered myself for casual work - although I can't reveal whether I ended up working in a muddy field picking fruit for the week or not! |

Working with other investigators at Answers as a team on a large case carried out in central London recently was an extremely rewarding experience and turned out to be a big success. I have travelled 300 miles to Newquay in Cornwall and undertaken a 24-hour surveillance operation with one particular client - I am still waiting for the call to trace someone who has absconded to Hawaii! |

The work is not all hiding in the shadows and jumping out of bushes as seen on TV– although that part is fun! The job is fascinating, hugely varied and every day is different. I have the personality and determination to get to the bottom of things, and find satisfaction in knowing that some of the work I am involved in can in some way help people who are going through a tough time in their life. |
