Practical experience has shown that surveillance in Europe is much easier in a right hand drive hire car! Technological advances - e.g. sat-nav - make the task much easier too. Vehicle surveillance takes a lot of concentration so driving a car with the steering wheel on the correct side helps with traffic flow and direction (surprisingly, driving on the right is no difficulty). |
