INTERVIEW with one of our detectives (2006), who tells you what it is like to work as a PI and why they joined Answers:

	From our site in Southampton, our local resident Private Eye is always available to provide client support across Hampshire, The New Forest, Dorset, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight. Dedicated to our more Southern based queries, we are happy to visit clients at their preferred location. Working as a fully fledged investigator can also involve interviewing for new staff and attending on our selection panel (watch video)
	Working as a woman in this industry often requires balancing lending a sensitive and empathic ear to clients, whilst adopting a much more assertive approach when needs must, such as process serving , interviewing witnesses or attending the Office Party. Practical issues have meant having to search through a woman’s suitcases at Heathrow airport (whilst taking time to comment on the number of pairs of shoes and handbags tucked inside).
	One of our lady investigators says : "Having worked in the Insurance business for several years, becoming a Private Eye was a massive change of culture but one of the best decisions I ever made - I have come a long way since my early days at Answers and enjoy the constant learning curve that is demanded by changing business and different client needs"
