According to a recent survey, employees are more informed than ever as to their employment rights. 88% of employees say they would consider making a claim to a tribunal, compared to 34% in a similar survey from 1995.
Of those surveyed nearly all had at some time a serious workplace argument or dispute with their employer and in 70% of cases this remained unresolved. 4 out of 5 employees believed their employer was not well informed

Of course, as an Employer you should study and be aware of the new statutory and disciplinary procedures, however if you are defending a case talk to us as well. Some claims are spurious at best, and some work in supporting your evidence through investigative technique can pay massive dividends - especially if the employee is claiming they are unable to work as a result of a grievance and you believe this may not be the case.
